Our Farm
We are a full service nursery and multi-faceted farming operation designed for the nuture, raising, and racing of Thoroughbred horses. Winchester Place Thoroughbreds, LLC was originally located admist a 2,000 acre farming operation on the South Dakota-Minnesota border. In July of 2010, the operation was moved to a farm in the heart of the Kentucky Bluegrass only 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Racetrack, the horse farms of Midway, and 5 minutes from Paris. In 2012, Winchester Place aquired the historic Eagle Valley Farm. An additional 562 acres with 101 stalls, eurocisors, and state of the art training barns was added ensuring Winchester Place’s committment to being a full service farm.
Our Horses
From our first crop of foals bred at the farm, we have produced an undefeated two year old champion at Canterbury Park in the K.B. Kid. Horses owned by Winchester Place have sold at the Keeneland, Ocala, and Barrett’s Select Two Year Old in Training Sales.
After racing, our horses find new homes as show horses and eventers, competing at the highest levels. We are proud of the care given to our horses, and the management and staff who provide the utmost attention to every detail. At Winchester Place, we are dedicated to breeding, raising, and racing outstanding Thoroughbreds.
